I use a couple of different platforms for recording notes on clients and Focus is by far the easiest, clearest, and accurate platform that I use. I wish everyone I contract with used it! 

 My agency has used Focus since 2017. As a user of multiple EMR systems including Therap, I can't say enough positive things about Focus. Focus is an intuitive system that is very easy to use. Billing data is taken directly from notes submitted which ensures consistency between the notes documenting services and what was actually billed for those services reducing the risk of recoupment during billing audits. In addition, it is easy to upload all of the documentation we need to maintain on participants and to audit what we have and what is missing in preparation for site visits by our regulators. We used to scramble to prepare for audits and site visits. Not anymore. With the help of Focus, we are always audit ready. 

My organization has worked with SITEK Inc for years now, specifically their electronic records system Focus. This is our core electronic records system for our 1915c waiver programs as well as our mental health program. Our admin users and providers have used a wide range of records systems over the years, and none have been nearly as functional and aligned with our processes and needs as Focus. It is particularly strong in terms of document management, auditing, and billing operations. The "canned" reports are strong, but where the system really shines is in the "advanced" reporting functionalities, which allow us to create our own custom, purpose-built reporting. This functionality is at the core of multiple operations processes, giving us full visibility, all the time, of the data we need. Support is top-notch. Any issues are resolved quickly. But more importantly, SITEK Inc is very responsive to provider requests and routinely implements new features and change requests at a speed and volume that I have never experienced with any other vendor. If your agency is looking for an electronic records system, especially if your agency is 1915c "waiver," I cannot recommend Focus strongly enough. You'll not only get a system that saves you time and money with smart process optimization, you'll get an implementation and support network that already understands your business logic, regulatory requirements, and compliance operations.
